The 2nd batch of hospitality training in phase 3 was inaugurated at BREADS on 29th February 2016. The Dignitaries present were Rev Fr. Joy, Executive director of BREADS, Chief Guest Rev Fr. Kalariparambil Toney, Administrator of Provincial House Bangalore, Mr. Patrick State Co-ordinator, Mr. Jyotirmaya (HR of Costa Coffee), Ms. Thejaswini from Accenture, Ms. Catherine, DB Tech State Finance Executive. A total of 34 students were present from the previous batch and the new batch which enhanced the beauty of the programme.
The programme started with prayer song and was followed by the inauguration of the new batch by lighting of the lamp.Rev Fr. Joy addressed the group with his motivational words about the positive impact of the training like having dignity in society and making self-reliant without gender difference. He also announced about the new training center at Lingarajapuram which would start shortly with three different Domains.
The chief guest Rev Fr. Toney felicitated the students for successfully completing and being placed in different enterprises. He also spoke about the importance of knowledge and knowledge is power to achieve our goal. Ms. Thejaswini represented Accenture the facilitating organization for the training of the students. She expressed her joy in seeing the empowered youth, which brings the sense of achievement and motivation to go forward.Mr. Jyotirmaya being a placement partner motivated the students saying not to be worried about the initial hiccups during placement but to work towards future goal. He also assured candidates would be welcomed to build their career & contribute to self-growth.Mr. Patrick encouraged the students with the motivational story, and spoke about ASK (ability, skills and knowledge) to choose the right path.
Later, the students of previous batch who completed the training were given the course completion certificate. The certificate awarding ceremony was followed by a small cultural programme by the new students. After the programme Mr. Santosh, Trainer in DB Tech BREADS expressed gratitude to the whole gathering and concluded the programme with a photograph session.
