Don Bosco Tech – BREADS in collaboration with Sindhi Seva Samithi began the skill training in Retail Management and Electrical & Plumbing sector on Oct 2015 at Sindhi Academy of Skills, Kempapura, near Hebbal. The first batch of 40 trainees completed the training successfully.
Thus the long awaited day of certification was on 1st February 2016. The day of certification and inauguration of 2nd batch was celebrated with much enthusiasm and triumph. After short refreshment, the programme started by invoking God’s blessing. The honourable guest were welcomed with bouquets and escorted to the dice. The distinguished guests were the management of Sindhi Academy of Skills Sri Rajkumar Kukreja, Sri Deepak Narang, Sri Suresh Chawla, Sri Ashok Chawla, Sri Mohan Bathija. Fr. Jeeson SDB, Regional Coordinator of Don Bosco Tech, Mr. Patrick, the State Coordinator, Mr. Bhuvaneshwar, the Asst. State coordinator and Mr. Jinto Joy, the accountant at BREADS represented BREADS, Bangalore. Mr Patrick Fernandes, briefed the activities of the Sindhi Academy of Skills with the help of colourful visuals. Sri Rajkumar, the Chairman of Sindhi Academy of Skills, during his speech expressed his joy about the progress and the success of the Sindhi Academy of Skills with the help of DB Tech, BREADS. He also extended his gratitude to all those people worked hard behind this success. Rev. Fr. Jeeson motivated the students to have endurance and never give up in life. The students of the previous batch who have successfully completed the three months course and got placement were awarded with the certificate from Sindhi-Breads Academy of Skills. Ms. Amala from the first batch grabbed the attention of the gathering by sharing her experience in the academy, and she concluded by saying “I thank the Breads-Sindhi Academy from bottom of my heart”. The event came to an end with the cultural performances put up by trainees of Sindhi Academy of Skills, Kempapura.
