The new batch of the skill training in “Hospitality” was inaugurated on 12th September 2015 at BREADS Bangalore. The inaugurals started with prayer followed by the welcome speech of Fr. Joy Nedumparambil SDB, Executive Director of BREADS Bangalore.
Fr. Joyce Thonikuzhiyil SDB, Provincial of Don Bosco Bangalore officially inaugurated the new batch by lighting the lamp. He spoke about the mission and values of Don Bosco and urged the trainees to be active and honest in their work without the supervision of the higher authorities. Mr. Ullas (Training Manager of Vivanta by Taj) addressed the students saying that after three months of the foundation training in at BREADS, candidates would be welcomed in order to build their career & contribute to the growth of self and the nation. Fr. Jeeson SDB, Regional Coordinator, DB Tech Bangalore motivated the students with success stories and guided them on how to choose the right path.
Later, there was certification of the outgoing students. The certification ceremony was followed by a small cultural programme by the new students. It was great fun and excitement having everyone involved in all the activities. The presence of the Parents of the old batch students enhanced the richness of the programme. The function was concluded with vote thanks proposed by Mr. Santosh, Trainer – DB Tech BREADS.
