Chinnarostva (children’s day celebration) was celebrated at Don Bosco Hospet on 16th November 2014 with various programmes and fun games. About 965 children participated in the programme with teachers, parents and community leaders. The chief guests of the programme were Srilakshmi and Parushu Ram from the child right clubs. Mr. Ragavendra, CWC Chair Person, Mrs. Sunitha CDPO (Assistant), Fr. Lawrence sdb Director DB Hospet, Mrs. Savitri President TARUNI Women Group Federation were present for the function.
Srilakshmi in her inaugural speech said that all children should be allowed grow well, being able to enjoy our rights and childhood. Fr. Lawrence (Director) explained about the CHIINAROSTVA. He mentioned that it was a time of celebration for the children and an opportunity to participate and enjoy their childhood and cultivate good positive qualities in life to grow and help other poor children in the society.
After the public meetings all children were given 10 playing tickets to play different chance games and prizes were given to the winners. All children carried the attractive prices home. The children enjoyed a lot in the Chinnarostva. The program concluded at 5.00pm with tea and snacks. The day was a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy with so many children together as a family under the banner of Don Bosco and Don Bosco TARUNI.
