Don Bosco Leads Taluka Advisory Board (TAB) Formation

Don Bosco Childline (Hospet) together with the assistance of the Department of Women and Child Welfare and Childline India Foundation organized Taluka Advisory Board (TAB) Formation meeting at the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, Hospet, Bellary Dt. on 9 July 2014. Shri Sunil Kumar (AC), Hospet, presided over the meeting attended by
Shri Ramesh Konnareddy (Thahasildar), Mrs Sundamma (BEO), Mr Shekar Gowda (CDPO), officers from government departments such as from Labour, Health, Child, Police, and Anganwadi, representatives from municipal administration, NGO members etc. The purpose was to form a committee and to evaluate Child based issues in the Taluk. Serious concerns such as child labour, school dropouts, child marriages, child care etc. were discussed. The AC ordered all the departments to send circulars pertaining to Child help line and put up notices, flux boards, pamphlets, wall paintings in all the departments and common places.
