Fr Anil D’sa, a Salesian of Don Bosco of the Bangalore Province and the Director of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Bangalore, brought together young volunteers in collaboration with the Sneha Charitable Trust (Camellian Fathers) to be COVID Warriors in hospitals in Bangalore city. Fifty volunteers including religious brothers and sisters are working in different batches in the hospitals.
The COVID Warriors are trained by medical experts to assist the nurses and doctors. They serve food and medicine to the COVID patients in the ICUs and wards, assisting them to washrooms and also support the nurses by procuring reports and medicine. The COVID Warriors truly bring joy and consolation not only to the patients but also to the frontline workers who labour tremendously for the wellbeing of the patients. Fr Anil is looking for more warriors to join the force. If you wish to enlist for this service, fill this form- https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLScCH35BP5qSVQ…/viewform
