BREADS released the annual report 2017- 2018 on 02 November 2018 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore. Fr. Jose Koyickal, Vice Provincial, Bangalore province, released the report and the first copy was handed over to Fr. MK George, Rector, Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore. During the past one year BREADS concentrated on strengthening the community for self-sufficiency through grass root level planning, capacity building, training and advocacy actions where men, women and children were enabled to stand for their own rights. The initiatives also paid attention to the needs of the children in vulnerable situations and at risk, education of children in rural areas creating favorable attitudes among the adults towards educating their children and skill training programmes to foster the future of the young to create a pool of skilled work force. Besides the core projects, conscious steps were taken to look at the protection of environment and sustainable development. This annual report also describes some of the initiatives in this context. BREADS acknowledge and appreciate the contribution of donor partners and local Don Bosco Institutions in implementing the projects, essentially continuing to build the future.
