On 4 March 2024, Don Bosco ITI Bhadravathi, in collaboration with Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS), organised a meeting for the parents of its third batch of trainees. The meeting was attended by 20 parents and close relations of the trainees of tailoring and arecanut plate making.
The chief guest, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, tailoring instructor at Government ITI, Khadadkatte, Bhadravathi, encouraged both students and parents to support each other in learning new skills.
Fr. Nilagal Christuraj, the Rector and Principal, motivated the trainees to enhance their creativity in dressmaking. He advised all to acquire as many skills as possible, announcing a special training session in screen printing and hand embroidery. After the programme, the trainees of the tailoring batch showcased their crafts, and dresses they had prepared, providing a glimpse of their skills.
