Computer Training for Young Girls at Don Bosco Gulbarga

Don Bosco PYAR, Gulbarga commenced the 3rd batch of computer training for young girls at Don Bosco center in Gulbarga. The new batch of training was officially inaugurated and course completion certificate was endowed to the previous batch students on 15.08.2016 at the training center. Four Don Bosco staffs and around 50 students together from old and new batch were present for the inauguration. Fr. Saji Anachalil, Director Don Bosco Pyar welcomed the gathering and spoke about the importance of computer education in the current scenario. The chief guest Ms. Bhagyalakshmi, Director – Helpline for women, with student representative, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Ms. Bhagyalakshmi during her inaugural address encouraged the young girls to learn a skill to live a better life. She stated few examples from her experience to substantiate that skill training and education will help empowerment of women. Don Bosco team was appreciated for this essential endeavor towards women empowerment. After distributing the certificates, she also congratulated the students of previous batch on successful completion of course. Ms. Shanthakumari, student of the 2nd batch shared her experience of computer training at don Bosco and the positive changes that has brought in her life. This event served as an opportunity for new students to know more about the course and understand the experience of old students which motivated them to continue training. The inaugural ceremony came to an end with the vote of thanks by a staff.
