Don Bosco Chullikkara organised an awareness and medical camp on 10 May 2026, as part of the Sports for Change initiative in Kasargod district of Kerala. The programme promote awareness on the importance of sports, mental and physical health, and healthy nutritional practices among the 30 mothers and 50 children, who showed active involvement and enthusiasm.
Dr. Dhanya conducted an informative class on health and nutrition and also supervised the health check-ups for the participants. Free medicines were also distributed according to need.
As 10 May also marked Mother’s Day, Mothers were specially celebrated during the programme. Fr. Sunny Uppan, Project Director, spoke about ‘The Importance of Mothers in the Life of Every Individual’, highlighting the invaluable role of mothers in shaping character, nurturing emotional well-being, and guiding individuals towards a meaningful and responsible life.
