Spreading the message and relevance of World No Tobacco Day, Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring (DREAM) Trivandrum organised a campaign with the theme ‘Protect our environment’ in collaboration with three different panchayats of Thiruvananthapuram from 29 May 2022. Around 600 people were part of the campaign that spread awareness about drug abuse among youngsters.
On the first day of the campaign, a football tournament was conducted at Karimadom colony, Thiruvananthapuram with the focus of channelizing the energy of youth and children. A total of 16 teams participated in the football tournament. Fr Saji Elambasseril sdb (Director, DREAM Trivandrum) kicked off the tournament. Mr. Shaji (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trivandrum) congratulated the participants and presented trophies to the winners.
