BREADS’ Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring (DREAM) programme was officially launched in Alappuzha by the District Collector Mr. A. Alexander on 3 December 2021 at St. Joseph’s College for Women, Alappuzha. DREAM was jointly launched by BREADS Bangalore and the Integrated Development Society Alappuzha in association with the district administration, District Legal Services Authority, Excise and Education departments, and the diocese of Alappuzha. Smt. M T Jalaga Rani (Sub-judge, Alappuzha), Mr. Venukuttan Pillai (Asst. Excise Commissioner), Rt. Rev. James Anaparambil (Bishop of Alappuzha Diocese), and Fr. Binu Scaria (State Director, DREAM) were also part of the programme.
The new district office for the DREAM programme was blessed and inaugurated by Fr. Thomas Meckattuparambil (Rector, Don Bosco Alappuzha) in the presence of Salesians and the staff.
