Don Bosco houses in Kerala and Karnataka has joined the efforts of the state governments in their respective ways since the lockdown began as a precaution against COVID -19. At this instance, Don Bosco Bidar with the support of BREADS Bangalore have distributed provisions and food kits to the blind and leprosy people in Bidar on 31 March 2020.
The kits were distributed in two locations namely Chickpet and Chatnalli by identifying the most deserving and negatively impacted by the lock down. Another 50 families are identified with the help of the government and local leaders for whom the necessities and the provisions will be distributed freely at the earliest to help them survive the epidemic.
