Fishermen Community Development Programme (FCDP), Kollam in collaboration with the Kollam District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) inaugurated a legal services clinic on 13 November 2019. It was inaugurated by the Honourable Sub-Judge and Secretary of the District Legal Service Authority, Kollam, Mrs. Subitha Chirakkal. The objective of forming the legal services clinic was to provide free legal aid to fisher folk in the coastal areas of Kollam district especially in Thanny and Thangassery, and to create awareness among the community about contemporary legal issues. Mrs. Subitha Chirakkal assured the fisher folk of the proper functioning of the Legal Services Clinic and extended the full support of DLSA for any assistance. Fr.
