Youth and children are among the highest priorities of BREADS and had always designed, planned, articulated and implemented various programs as the key determinants of success. DB BEST Academy, Bangalore providing skill training for the youth, has organized a guest lecture for the 9th batch students on improving Interview Deutsche Bank and effectively carried out the activities.
The gracious guests for the day were Mr. Rakesh Gajaria, Director GTO Operational Tax Utility Deutsche Bank India, Fr. Joy Nedumparambil, Executive Director BREADS and Mr. Kennedy, DB BEST centre Coordinator. The training began with the inauguration ceremony and the gathering were welcomed by Mr. Kennedy. The one day training intended to enhance the confidence of the trainees to face interviews with best of their ability and performance. The sessions were taken lead by the 9 members team from Deutsche Bank. The training tried to impart the students the importance of interview skills, self introduction and improve their confidence, self awareness and analyse on their strengths and weaknesses.
Mr. Rakesh Gajari commenced the session with an orientation about the team members and the whole purpose and objectives of the training. The students were then divided into a group of three and in each group the students introduced themselves to the team members from Deutsche Bank. The subjects of discussion were mainly presentation skills, interview skills, resume preparation, orientation on internet and social media etc. The team advised the students on self introduction and how to present themselves as best impressive to others. The team also presented some basic concepts such as definition of interview, preparation for interviews, performance during and after interviews, do’s and don’ts regarding interview, generally raised questions in an interview, important job sites and media platforms etc.
After the introductory session they conducted an interactive session with different groups. The group activities were conducted with an aim to reduce their fear, and improve their self-confidence, public speaking skill and give more clarity on interview skills and techniques. The session was concluded after the group discussions and group activities with the vote thanks by Ms. Pani Malar (CSR Manager BREADS). She highlighted the success of the Academy and expressed her gratitude towards Mr. Rakesh and the whole Deutsche Bank team whose constant and continues support have abled the many youth to come up in flying colours. From each team the students came forward to share their experience about the session and activities. 85 trainees had actively participated and benefitted from the programme.
