Yasmeen was born in a poor family in the village of Martur. She is the eldest in the family and has four younger siblings. The financial and poor economic conditions at home forced her to stop going to school at an early stage though she aimed and dreamed of pursuing higher education. She started to look after the house hold activities went along with her mother to work thereby bringing financial support to family. Meanwhile she boldly and seriously took up the Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (ISMO) training conducted by Don Bosco, it opened up the skills and the boldness to find a better future and job proficiency. Currently she is employed in a tailoring shop and she has brought in financial support for her family and makes a safe future by maintaining the savings.
