Don Bosco ITI Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), in collaboration with Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) and BOSCONET, distributed seed capital and certificates to the trainees who successfully completed the three-month tailoring and beautician courses on 10 November 2023, at Don Bosco ITI Robertsonpet, KGF. As seed capital, sewing machines were distributed to 40 graduate trainees of the tailoring course, while 20 graduate trainees of the beautician course received vanity kits containing makeup and grooming items. These practical investments are meant for the women to kickstart their self-employment endeavors, ensuring accessibility and affordability within the local context.
The cultural activities performed by the trainees added a joyful and lively dimension to the event. Tailoring course trainees proudly showcased their designs, while beautician course trainees transformed the event into a captivating fashion show, exhibiting their mastered makeup and grooming techniques.
