Aon Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore organised an employee volunteer engagement programme on the 19 August 2023 at BOSCO Mane and BOSCO Vikas in Chamarajpet. The event aimed to create a meaningful connection between the Aon team and the children associated with Bangalore Oniyavara Seva Coota (BOSCO) and BREADS. The programme was a heartwarming experience filled with engagement, learning, and interactions.
The event commenced with an informative presentation about the mission and work of BOSCO Bangalore and BREADS, led by Fr. Prasad, Director of BOSCO Mane, and Fr. George PS, Executive Director of BREADS. It provided valuable insights into the organisations’ efforts to uplift underprivileged children and communities.
Following the presentation, there was a delightful lunch shared between the Aon team and the children. This communal meal provided an excellent opportunity for the volunteers to connect with the children on a personal level, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding. The Aon team enthusiastically engaged with the children through various games and activities. These interactive sessions not only brought joy and laughter but also encouraged teamwork and social skills. Seventy-five children from BOSCO Mane and BOSCO Vikas actively participated in these activities, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
The entire event was seamlessly coordinated by Responsenet Development Services, BREADS’ partner organisation based in New Delhi. Their expertise ensured that the activities and interactions were meaningful, enjoyable, and in line with the objectives of the programme, which was to exemplify the spirit of corporate social responsibility and community engagement. The commitment and enthusiasm displayed by the Aon team left a positive impact on both the children and the organisations involved. It was a day filled with joy, learning, and shared experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and contributing to the welfare of the underprivileged communities served by BOSCO and BREADS. Such initiatives highlight the potential of corporate partnerships in creating a brighter future for all.
