Children’s Day at Don Bosco Hospet

Don Bosco Hospet celebrated children’s day with a theme protect us with love on 12th November. More than 900 poor children in and around Hospet Taluk gathered in Don Bosco campus for the meaningful celebration of the occasion. The celebration began with cultural programmes. Children performed dance and singing. Chief Guest for the event was Ms. Bhumika, a contestant from Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa singing competition and yedhe thumbi Bha Runner up entertained the children by her amazing voice. Other guest persons present on the stage were, Mr. Parameshwar Asst. CDPO, Mr. Guru Raj a representative from education dept, Fr. Lawrence the Director of Don Bosco, Fr. Martin HM DB school, Miss. Basanthi Taruni president, Miss Savithri Tdh coordinator and two representatives from the children. During the programme best student awards were given to the SSLC, PUC, and Degree students of Self Help Group of women. CREAM awarded champion of child rights to three people of Bellary namely, Mr. Mohammad Imran a school teacher from Hospet, Mr. Basavaraj GP member from Hagri Bhommana Halli and Miss Shashikala CRC president from Sandoor. After the cultural programmes lot of fun games were conducted for the children. All won prizes for their participation in the games.
