Supplementary Education Camp in Ramnagara

Don Bosco Yuvakara Grama, Ajjanahalli, Ramnagara organized the supplementary education camp for the children from 19^th April to 23^rd April 2017. Fr. Devassy SDB, Vice Rector, inaugurated the camp and set the tone for the five day programmes. The camp provided the children numerous opportunities to take up various roles and responsibilities and its scope was not just limited to few activities. A lot of learning and information was shared for the intellectual and personal growth of the children. Classes were taken on various topics- child rights, child rights violations, Gram Sabhas, leadership qualities, group dynamics, personality development, computer classes and mind games. The group was divided into five teams- Lion King, Kuvempu, Belaku, Prakruthi and Brundavana and daily tasks and responsibilities were allocated to each team. Time keeping, cleaning, food arrangements, games, cultural events were daily managed by these teams. Every morning children had the regular exercises and meditations to keep the day fit and fresh.  It was a wonderful event to exhibit the leadership qualities; above all the camp was informative and entertaining.
