Don Bosco Yuvakara Grama, Ajjanahalli inaugurated new mobile computer training programme on the 09 January 2017 at Govt. higher primary school, Veeregoudanadoddi, Magadi. It was inaugurated by Mr. Suresh, Taluk Panchayath President, Magadi by cutting the ribbon and he addressed the gathering including teachers and students of the school. He appreciated Don Bosco for its social concern and the unique initiative. Computer education is the need of the era and he spoke about present situation of computers in many schools. Mrs. Shailaja, BEO in-charge switched on the computers and addressed the children urging them to utilize the wonderful opportunity She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Don Bosco for the opportunity given for rural children to learn computers through this programme. Mr. Kumar – Ajjanahalli Grama Panchayath President, Mrs. Umadevi – Block Resource Person, Mrs. Pankaja – School Head Mistress, Mr. Anil – Computer Teacher, Mr. Muthuraj – District Project Coodinator, Mr. Raghupathi – Social Activist, School Teachers and children participated in this Program. The major attraction of this is that all the fifteen computers along with a TV and air coolers are functioning by solar energy from the solar panels on the vehicle. The mobile computer lab in a bus will go around in the villages and schools of Magadi to give exposure and opportunity for children to learn computer.
