Don Bosco Yuva Marg Ramanagara, conducted two days residential training for old Child Rights Club Members. The training started on a fine day mid-November at 10.30 am and was inaugurated by CRC Leaders Preethi and Kishore. After the inauguration children were divided in to smaller groups for impactful participation and they got ready to participate in the forthcoming activities. Fr. Sonychan Mathew addressed the CRC leaders talking about chid protection and rights citing previous examples. At the end of the session every child declared boldly that they will all stay together to protect the child rights and prevent child rights violations in their villages. The following sessions were on leadership, proceeding of Child Rights Clubs and introducing the child related government departments to the children. Yoga and meditation by Mr. Kalleshappa and Mr. Lokesh, CREAM Social Activists, were also part of the residential training. Later in the day District Federation of Child Rights Club was formed, children nominated and selected President, vice president, Secretary, and other members for the federation. The training came to an end with a valedictory ceremony organised by the children themselves. All Social Activists and tuition teachers in CREAM programme were part of the training in assisting children to imbibe the knowledge effectively.
