On 15 April 2023, Don Bosco Makkalalaya (partner of BREADS Bangalore) inaugurated its 33rd batch of skill training in the retail business management and BPO domains. The event was graced by the presence of the new batch of students, their parents, and the staff.
The chief guest was Fr. Prasad (Director, Bosco Mane Bangalore). He encouraged the students to aspire to great heights and work diligently towards realising their dreams. Fr. Devassy (Director, Don Bosco Makkala Mane), the guest of honour, advised the students to strive for excellence in their lives, emphasising the significance of education as a key to unlocking their future. Fr. Siju Thomas (Executive Director, Don Bosco Makkalalaya) motivated the students to make the most of every opportunity to prosper.
The ceremony was a blend of culture and learning, as the current batch of students of the Open School programme (a BREADS’ initiative that supports child labourers and school dropouts from poverty-stricken families and street dwellers in Mysuru to complete their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Pre-University Course (PUC) examinations) were bid farewell, and the cultural performances of the new batch made the event even more engaging and memorable.
We wish all the students the very best in their skill training journey and look forward to their success and growth in the future. Let’s strive towards building a better and brighter tomorrow together!
