On 3 April 2023, Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB, the Provincial of Sacred Heart Province, Bangalore, made his annual canonical visit to the Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) office, accompanied by Fr. Sebastian – Rector, Provincial House, Bangalore. Fr. Deepu Mathew- Assistant Director of BREADS was also present.
During the visit, Fr. Rubin Mathew, Executive Director of BREADS, gave a brief summary of the organisation’s activities over the past year to the Provincial. The Provincial expressed his appreciation for BREADS’ contributions to the province’s mission. He also stressed the need to do more to meet the changing needs of our stakeholders and mission in the province. There was a short discussion about the current direction of development work in the province.
