Chithra Don Bosco organised the training on gender equality for the Government officials on 25th and 26th of September 2017 under the Women Empowerment Programme in Chitradurga. The training commenced at 10.30 am and was inaugurated by Mr. Sreenath M Joshi, Superintendent of Police, Chitradurga and Fr. Julian, Director, Chithra Don Bosco. Ms. Margaret Sampath and Ms. Kanmani from SICHREM, Bangalore were the resource persons. About 32 members (ASHA workers, police personnel, nurses from health department) attended the training.
