Release of Handbook on Child Rights training

The handbook of Child rights training for CREAM staff was released by Fr Jose Koyickal, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Bangalore in the presence of the Provincial team and all the Rectors of the province. This extensive manual on child rights is being designed with the goal of raising awareness among all levels of individuals, particularly those working with the government and/or at the policy making level, so that they may better grasp the fundamental principles of child rights. The handbook is truly comprehensive, attempting to capture all the subtleties of child rights in order to present a simple yet solid structure within which issues concerning essential rights such as survival, growth, protection, and participation may be placed and understood.  It is hoped that the manual will prove to be an effective guide for those working in the domain of child rights, besides serving as a helpful resource to the trainings.
