BREADS was privileged to host a team of volunteers from Deutsche Bank at DB BEST Academy, BREADS’ skill training centre, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore on 2 February 2023. This volunteering was a part of their employee-engagement programme. Deutsche Bank partners with BREADS to financially support the running of this centre, and this physical activity with the BREADS team to motivate the less-privileged youth through interaction with them, indicates their commitment to creating an impact in the lives of the youth.
Fourteen staff members from Deutsche Bank spent 2 hours with the students discussing meaningful topics such as stress management, management of emotions, and problem-solving. Some of the staff shared their life stories to which the students could relate, thus feeling motivated to not give up at the challenges in their lives. The open interaction created a significant impact on the lives of the students. Most of them were challenged to rise from the situation to which they were pulled down, and become impactful citizens in society.
