BREADS, through its Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, organised a Job Fair on 25 October 2025 in collaboration with Don Bosco College, KR Puram and Equitas Trust. The event aimed to connect young job seekers with reputed employers and support them in finding meaningful career opportunities.
The Job Fair brought together 18 companies from various sectors, offering a diverse range of job openings for aspiring youth. A total of 210 candidates attended the event, of whom 134 were shortlisted or selected for employment. The initiative created a vital platform for young people to engage directly with recruiters and gain insight into current industry expectations.
The smooth coordination of the event was ensured through the active involvement of the college management, logistics team and student volunteers. The collective effort reflected Don Bosco’s long-standing commitment to empowering young people through education and skill development.
Special appreciation goes to Rev. Fr Gabriel Karunaraj SDB, Director of Don Bosco Job Placement Network; Rev. Fr PS George SDB, Director of BREADS; and Rev. Fr Tony SDB, Director of DB BEST Academy, for their continuous guidance and support in making the Job Fair a success. The event reaffirmed Don Bosco’s mission of empowering youth through skill training and employment opportunities, strengthening their pathway to a dignified and sustainable livelihood.
