DREAM- Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring

Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring (DREAM) is a rights-based initiative of BREADS started in November 2021, which aims to empower lakhs of children and youth to dream beyond drugs. DREAM specifically focuses on children, especially adolescents and youth, who can easily fall prey to drug abuse.

DREAM aims to prevent substance use and other addictions among school and college students through awareness creation, counselling and deaddiction services across 10 districts in Kerala: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod. The programme collaborates closely with the Government departments in Kerala for more effective intervention. The dream of DREAM is to enable 400,000 school students and 120,000 college students to say NO to substance use and break free of any addictions.
