On 14 October 2025, the Mental health Initiative for Nurturing Development and Support (MINDS) team from Don Bosco Yadagiri conducted a public awareness programme on mental health at Mundaragi (Ashokanagar) village in Yadgiri taluk.
During the campaign, 669 community members received awareness pamphlets in their local language Kannada, which explained common mental health concerns, symptoms of distress and the available avenues for help. The team engaged with villagers through brief interactions, encouraging open discussions to help reduce the stigma often associated with mental health issues.
This MINDS campaign was another meaningful intervention of the BREADS-supported mission to promote positive mental health and accessible psychosocial care at the grassroots level. BREADS Bangalore and Don Bosco Yadagiri extend their gratitude to the local community for their active participation and openness in addressing mental health concerns.
