On 16th and 17th December 2017 Don Bosco Yadagiri organized the two days production skill training for 37 SHG members from different villages. The skill training aimed to enhance the production skills of the women entrepreneurs on products which they intend to start as the IGP/micro enterprise. Fr David D’Souza, in charge of Gulbarga diocese social service society, was the resource person on the first day and helped all to understand how production and the related skills are vital for any business transaction. Through examples he was able to tell the participants the importance of maintaining good relations with market, departments and customers. In the sessions he effectively brought in the aspects of production and sale. The trainer spoke about various products that can attract business and government support. He also spoke about business and schemes available for aspiring entrepreneurs. On the second day Mr. Hanumanthraya, an excellent practical skill trainer in various patterns and designs of garments, led the sessions on embroidery and designing works in garments. The participants learned the skills of machine embroidery, hand embroidery and colour designing of a particular cloth items. The participants were taught and trained on different designs of cloths Eg. Lambani dress, costumes used for marriage and other common celebrations and new fashion designs which can be worn during special occasions.
