No efforts are spared for the welfare and well-being of the children

Training on Child Marriage Act was held at Thotada Ramaiah Girls High School Hosadurga taluk of Chitradurga district for the Principals of PU Colleges, Head Masters of High Schools and Hostel Wardens of Hosadurga taluk. The training was organized by Ms. Sujatha, Child Development Protection Officer, Hosadurga taluk. Ms. Veena, District Coordinator, CREAM Project and Mr. Manjunath, Social Activist, CREAM Project were the resource persons for the training. The training session was attended by 52 officials from different government offices. The Child Marriage act was deeply dealt with and a practical knowledge was shared to the participants as they are the guardians and authority for the protection of children and child rights in their respective realms. The officials were informed and trained about the importance of Child Marriage act. The proper awareness and implementation of this law will definitely lead to the safety and protection of children and in turn the children will enjoy their childhood and education. The participants were keen to clarify their doubts and raised issues related to the welfare of the children under their care.
