On 16 November 2021, the foundation stone of the proposed Don Bosco School, Bidar was laid by Fr. Jose Koyickal, Provincial, Salesian Province of Bangalore. Rt. Rev. Robert Miranda, Bishop of Gulbarga, the Provincial team, and the Executive Director of BREADS, Fr Rubin Mathew, were present for the blessing of the foundation stone.
The Don Bosco School in Bidar is a collaborative venture of BREADS, Don Bosco Bidar, and Don Bosco Mondo, Germany. The school will bring English-medium education to the underprivileged children in the vicinity—creating fresh opportunities for them.
