BREADS in its mission to brighten the lives of children, focusing on their welfare, growth, and development, commemorated Children’s Day on 12 November 2023 at Kristu Jyoti College, Krishnarajapuram. Mr. Gerard Caltin M (Head HR, Collman Services – Banking Collection), the chief guest, inaugurated the event organised by Social Service Guild, BREADS’ implementing partner.
The evening was a joyous occasion for the 400 children who study in the ten supplementary education centres across Anandapura, Battarahalli, Chikkabasavanapura, Halehalli, Janata Colony, Jyoti Nagar, RMS Colony, Priyanka Nagar, Swatantra Nagar, and T C Palya. Various competitions—group dance, music, mono-act, elocution, and literary events were organised, providing a platform for the children to showcase their talents and creativity. It was an opportunity for the children to interact with a larger community, and gain experience and exposure. Games and entertainment sessions were arranged, and prizes were given for all the participants and winners.
This Children’s Day celebration resonated with the core mission of BREADS – to empower children through an educative presence by creating an environment that nurtures their holistic development.
