In Ramnagara district Women’s Day celebrations were organized at Government First Grade College. The day started with a rally from the railway station to the college and performed a street play on the theme ‘Women Empowerment’ at the DDPI office. The gathering at the college was chaired by Dr. Kanaka, Principal, Government First Grade College. Conceptual speech was delivered by Rev. Fr.Sonychen Mathew, Director, Don BoscoYuva Marg, Ramnagara. The event honored and thanked five women achievers for their great contribution to the society. Essay writing and speech competition was organized and nearly 400 people participated in the campaign.
