Don Bosco Chitradurga and Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga, organised a COVID-19 #Vaccination Drive programme on 3rd July 2021, where 185 people were vaccinated. This was in collaboration with the Department of Health, Chitradurga district, where Covishield and Covaxin vaccinations were available. This important initiative was for students, parents, lecturers, staff members of Chitra Don Bosco, and their family members. Rev. Fr. Joe Kokkandathi (Principal of Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga), Rev. Fr. Joseph Dandavathi (Director, @Chitra Don Bosco), Dr. BV Girish (Taluk Health Officer, Chitradurga), Dr. Murugappa (DHO of Chitradurga), along with staff members of the health department and recipients of the vaccine drive were present at the programme.
