The Sunday Market in Kattoor, an initiative of WELivE Alappuzha, under the WELivE programme by BREADS Bangalore and Don Bosco Alappuzha, is successfully running over the month. Around 20 women who are part of the WELivE programme are facilitated and motivated to start income generation projects and earn a decent and regular income. They are divided into groups where they make homemade products as part of their marketing strategy.
Every Sunday, the ladies put up pavilions on church premises and exhibit their products such as candles, dishwash detergents, garments, etc. for sale. People in and around the parish naturally gather at this neighbourhood stall for pure and homemade goods!
