Ron Vlaar World Cup Football Player from Holland Visits BREADS’ Projects

Don Bosco Child Labour Mission Davengere and Don Bosco Hospet, which have strenuously worked for the eradication of child labour got rare acknowledgement for its efforts with the visit of the famous world cup football player of Holland Mr. Ron Vlaar. In the press meeting held at Davangere Ron Vlaar opined that ignorance and the need to send children to work as parents are going through poverty are the reasons why eradication of child labour is tough in India.

While addressing the media and the crowed at Hospet, Mr. Cees the General Secretary of the Project exalted that the tradition, culture and blind obedience to the parents for the sake of security should not be a justification for not questioning against the injustice done to the children and girls in particular.  Later there were lots of photo sessions with the football champion Ron Vlaar.

Fr. Joy Nedumparambil, the Executive Director of BREADS accompanied the footballer, Mr. Ron Vlaar, the Ambassador of Yojana, Netherlands and Mr.Cees Tompot, the Director of Yojana Project to Davangere and Hospet.
