Primary Health Care through Mobile Clinics in Yadgiri District

  • The mobile clinic reached out to 30 villages of Yadagiri district in North Karnataka and more than 2200 families have regular access to primary health care services.
  • About 10682 poor people availed primary health care services (59% were women and 41% were men) during the year 2016-17.
  • Ten highly qualified and trained health workers visited the villages regularly and organized health education for the people, advocating with the government to improve the health services in the villages.
  • More than 10000 people especially women and children were educated on preventive health behaviors.
