Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) recently partnered with BREADS’ DB BEST Academy to explore job opportunities in new sectors for its young trainees as well as for other youth in need of employment.
On 13 May 2024, the Coordinators of JPN and DB BEST met with Mrs. Urvashi, HR Manager, and Mr. Phaneendra Nath, Dy General Manager of HMS Host. HMS Host is a leading provider of hospitality services in airports; currently present in six Indian airports with fifty-one stores offering food & beverage and retail services.
On learning about JPN and DB BEST’s joint commitment to empowering job seekers and young hospitality trainees through various initiatives, including job fairs and educational programmes, HMS Host expressed genuine interest in collaborating with them. They were enthusiastic about participating in job fairs as valuable platforms to connect with potential candidates and promote career opportunities within their company. The productive meeting led to HMS Host offering job opportunities to willing and suitable candidates in the Utilities and Guest Services departments. JPN and DB BEST hope that this new partnership gives many youth the chance to launch their careers.
