During the observation of the World Day Against Child Labour on 12 June 2024, Don Bosco Social Service Centre (DBSSC), Yadagiri was recognised by the District Administration as one of three best organisations in the service of children. Children from 13 activity centres organised by DBSSC across six villages in the district, participated in the events of the World Day Against Child Labour. The day began with a public awareness rally with 300 students, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, teachers and officials of various government departments, ending in a public programme with district and taluk level officials.
