The BREADS team welcomed Mr Daniel Knable, Project Manager of Don Bosco Mondo, Bonn, to its office on 11 Jan 2024. Fr George PS, the Executive Director, Fr Jitto Joy, the Assistant Director, and the rest of the team, warmly greeted Daniel with a traditional Mysuru peta and garland.
In the congenial team meeting that followed, Daniel interacted with the BREADS team, to understand individual roles and the BREADS work in general. In turn, Daniel explained his role in raising resources for the various BREADS projects, particularly those facilitating the rescue and rehabilitation of children at risk, as well as the education and healthcare of underserved communities in North Karnataka.
Later, Daniel visited DB BEST Academy, BREADS’ skill training centre located in Lingarajapuram to interact with the trainees. He also visited the surrounding areas to understand the living conditions in these low-income areas. BREADS wishes Daniel a very interesting and pleasant trip as he travels to various projects in North Karnataka and North-East India.
