BREADS was honoured to be invited for the second time by Volvo Group India to participate in Daan Utsav 2024; a wonderful initiative to promote community involvement in fostering positive social change.
As part of Daan Utsav, the Volvo CSR team organised several impactful activities during October, including blood donation drives, photography campaigns, food stall campaigns and other community initiatives. Daan Utsav served as a powerful platform to inspire Volvo employees to contribute to social transformation and make a meaningful impact in the lives of the underprivileged.
In culmination of the month-long efforts, Volvo Group India organised a special event in their Bangalore office premises on 5 November 2024, to present their contributions to the partnering NGOs. The top leadership of Volvo presented BREADS with the generous contribution of the employees matched by the company, signifying their commitment towards BREADS’ work of rescuing vulnerable children and youth in need, and their rehabilitation through education and skilling.
