A placement quest was organized by Quest Alliance for its NGO partners, Don Bosco Tech., Reaching Hands and Aikya. All three training school were present with a total of 120 retail domain trained students and their staff. There was a big crowd including the students, staff and companies. This is the first of this kind that DB Tech is being a part of.
The quest began at 9:00 am on 7th January 2016, with registration of interviewees at BELL hotel at Gandhinagar, Bangalore. Mr. Kotresh, from Quest Alliance formally welcomed the gathering and set the programme context with the schedule for the day. There was an array of 15 recruiters from eminent companies and retailers. Genisys, Adithya birla, Serco, Future Group, Rashu Enterprise, Shoppers’ Stop, Bata, Namdhari are a few to be named. The employers those who were present at the event were enthusiastic and delighted to hire students enriched with skills.
Indeed, it was a big day for all the students, those who were ready to capitalize the opportunity to bag the job and be independent in life. All students were excited and confident to face interviews. The first round of direct face to face interviews was conducted by employer for all 120 students. D. B. Tech. had presented 25 students from retail domain after the first screening at the centers, and is elated to announce that all the students from DB tech were selected for the next round of interviews. Employers hired skilled candidates and felt good about the same, requested to put up more similar events so they can be part of it.
The event was well organized to satisfaction and a great success. It ideally served its main objective to offer placement openings for the skilled and trained students in appropriate establishments.
