CREAM III State level staff meeting cum training

“Learning is a lifetime process, but there comes a time when we must stop adding and start updating”- Robert Brault

Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) Bangalore has organized a three day state level staff meeting cum training for the programme staff of its Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM) programme on 14, 15 and 16 September 2021 at the Don Bosco provincial house, Bangalore.

The meeting commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the inaugural address and official welcome.

The session on Impact, Creation and Capturing was handled by Mr. Kishore Attavar, Consultant, Social Science Research, Mangalore. The training sought to increase clarity and to find out the influential factors pursued by the staff in training and development of the children. The sessions aimed to provide project personnel with practical skills that would enable them to provide high-quality work with the greatest possible impact. The importance of reporting, analytics, baseline survey and information dissemination strategy were discussed during the sessions which can have a big impact on an organization, transforming people’s roles and how they make choices.

The handbook of Child rights training for CREAM staff was released during the training programme. The coordinators and social activists presented their activities during the past three months which helped the participants review their work, discuss flaws in implementation and share best practices to help them improve their strategies to meet programmatic goals effectively.

Surrounded by like-minded people on this venture was not only great fun, but an excellent opportunity to share experiences, see others in action and link with people that were genuinely prepared to go the extra yard to make it better for the pupils they were working with.
