The KISMAT programme under BREADS Bangalore, in association with the Mukkom Municipality, conducted a tug-of-war competition for the guest workers in Kozhikode district on 8 Jan 2023 at Don Bosco College, Mampetta, in observance of National Youth Day. The programme was inaugurated by Fr. Jeeson Nelluvelil, (Rector, Don Bosco Centre, Mampetta), with a message of attaining success through unity among various members.
After a tight competition among the three participating teams, Fr. Joby Kanimattathil (Kozhikode KISMAT Director) awarded cash prizes to the winning team. There were about 35 guest workers who attended the event. This event also became a platform where they shared their difficulties and extended their support to each other.
