In Bhadravati, BREADS is actively involved in the development and promotion of handicrafts through trainings in tailoring and arecanut plate-making, while also providing marketing opportunities through participation in fairs and exhibitions.
Don Bosco Bhadravati (BREADS’ implementing partner) witnessed the successful completion of the third batch of the tailoring and arecanut plate-making trainings on 30 November 2022. The valedictory function presided over by Rev. Fr. Arogya Raj SDB (Rector, Don Bosco Bhadravati), was made vibrant by the trainers and trainees, who shared their learnings and experiences during the training. All the trainees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to BREADS as well as Don Bosco Bhadravati for this golden chance. The handiwork of the trainees was on display in the auditorium during the function.
Fr. Sony SDB (Administrator, Don Bosco Bhadravati), while addressing the gathering, thanked everyone for their genuine efforts, making special mention of BREADS. He expressed the hope that the programme would continue to reach out to many more needy persons in the vicinity.
