In observance of Gandhi Jayanthi, DREAM Wayanad organised a Lahari Virudha Sandesha Yatra (Anti-drug campaign) in collaboration with the Janamaithri Suraksha Project of the Kerala Police, Sulthan Bathery, and the local auto drivers, on 1 October 2022. Around 40 autorickshaw drivers from various unions participated in an auto rally, displaying boards on their vehicles that contained anti-drug messaging. A public gathering was also conducted after the rally which was addressed by Mr Benny (CI) and Mr Sunny (ASI) from the Sulthan Bathery police station, and Dr. Johnson KP SDB (Director, DREAM Wayanad). Later, the auto drivers also took an oath with the DREAM team to support the prevention of drug use in Sultan Bathery.
