It’s a new beginning! with WELivE Kannur

Fourteen women, who are part of the Women Empowerment through Livelihood and Entrepreneurship (WELivE) project under BREADS, were happy to start their own enterprises in their native place, Angadikadavu (Kannur, Kerala). Daliya Food Products (5 ladies), Jasmine Pickles (5 ladies), M Star detergents (1 lady) and Evergreen jewelleries (3 ladies), are the four entrepreneurial ventures started by these women.

The Ayamkunnu Panchayat President Mr. Kuriachan Payampallikunnel inaugurated these enterprises in the presence of Ms. Mini Viswanathan (Standing Committee Chairperson), Ms Beena Rojas (ward member), Fr Sojan Pananchickal, (District Director- WELivE) and Ms Lissy Cyriac (WELivE staff).
