BREADS’ Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring (DREAM) team in Thrissur organised a campaign ‘Kaliyarangu 2K22’ in Manalur panchayat on 23 April 2022 with the theme #Dream Together.
The campaign began with various competitions for children on the topic ‘Dream beyond Drugs’ followed by an awareness session on addiction, mental health, and children’s role in promoting a healthy society.
The official function was inaugurated by Mr. Johnson PT (President, Manalur panchayat). The DREAM District Coordinator presented the DREAM logo to the President and explained the services provided by the DREAM programme to the 150-member audience. After the inaugural session, the winners of the competitions received prizes and certificates. The campaign was made much more interesting by the children’s various cultural performances.
